Hi all,
I have had a 3C VaraPower XM-L 6T on loan for 2 weeks or so now. On the highest of 33 modes it goes direct drive off 3 NIMH C cells which is 4.5A or so to the XM-L 6T. There is no heat issues as the heatsink is copper and has LED bonded direct to the copper heatsink. So, nice pretty beam with pure white light.

936.9-- 2 min
885.7-- 3 min
At 1m I get 90K lux, but when warmed up minutes later I get 68K~70K lux and 890ish OTF lumens, which is still pretty insane.
The picture below is the 2C XM-L by Lamdalights, but the reflector and heatsink look identical. Only difference is the 3C Varapower has the side knob to twist to go through the modes.
