It may not be an answer to your question but I think you can do better (performance and pricewise) looking elsewhere. I suspect or hypothesize that Leupold has a third party mfg making their lights.

Leupold designed and manufactured the lights which are, unfortunately, now discontinued. They were too expensive but no other manufacturer even came close in build quality. If you can find a close-out, some of the models can be great deals.
