Surefire host / drop-in modules combo?

Just curious as what you die hard SF guys are actually using.

I use a 6P with a Malkoff and a C2 with Thrunite XPG R5.

my host/drop-in
bored white C2 w/mclicky and NB XM-L warm tint.

my sisters host/drop-in
G2ZL OD w/mclicky and NB high CRI p4 single mode drop-in

Orange-red cerakoted C2 with NB SST50 3 mode dropin and a McClicky on 17670s.

6P bored for 18650, Overready zero resistance tailcap, Malkoff M60, Run with 18650 cell for the added run time.
M2 + DX Q2-5A, this module is a little longer than the other DX drop ins and hence lends itself better to the M2 bezel, Run with various 16340 sized cells
G2 + 15W LA, Run with various 16340 Li-Io cells

bored C2's and Z2 with malkoff m60\m61w and nailbender drop ins.
oveready accessories added.

I have a 6P with a Malkoff M61 . And I waiting until both the M61L & M61LL are in stock & plan on putting them in a G2L & another 6P .

I prefer SF, but I have some non-SF hosts too.

Just got a Malkoff M61HCRI, dropped in to a stock C2.

Malkoff M61W's and Nailbender XR-E's 1.4 amp when I need a bit of throw. Usually in C2 hosts.

1 Oveready bored HAIII Natural 6P with VanisleDSM Quad (R4, 5.6A)
1 Oveready Orange bored Cerakoted 6P with A19 extender (orange) & Moddoo Triple (Neutral)

1 black G2 with M60LL & netkidz clicky in tail
1 9P - bare aluminum with clicky tail & M60

Bright orange Ano FM 3P with NB XR-E (no reflector) and ahorton aspheric lens
Grey Blue HAIII FM3P with M30W and clicky tail
2 MDs (1 camo, 1 black) with M61HCRI dropins & hi/lo rings
2xAA McGizmo Ti Clicky pack with Ti head and Malkoff M30W
Various other configurations for incan use.....

I think that is almost enough


AND - being delivered on Tuesday the Surefire 6Px Pro red ano'd 911 tribute light - will probably be my only Surefire that doesn't get modded - all the rest are... (the L1s, the e1..)

I see mostly Malkoff and Nailbender mentioned here. I can understand why, but what's the verdict on "lesser" but more readily available modules such as Solarforce and Thrunite? Worth using them in Surefire hosts?

Worth it sure good value fir the price but with NB being fairly cheap I don't see the reason.

I really like the Malkoffs and the High CRI. Thinking about getting another one. I really do recommend a Malkoff it's the best and I do like NBs as well really get a lot for your money.

Only Surefire with upgrade modules ???

Two E2e with single mode and triple mode Veleno towers.
One E1e with a triple mode Veleno.
G2 yellow with P60L.
9P with Thrunite single mode XP-G R5 9v.

IMHO the Velenos were the best investment because they added something to my old lights which, at the time, I couldn't get anywhere else. Saved my beloved E series from the Drawer of Lost Souls.
