I've narrowed it down to the following jetbeam lights.

1. BA10
2. BA20
3. BC10
4. BC20
5. BC20-S2

Which one has the most efficiency as far as run time/battery type?
Also which one has the most flood?

BC20. Avoid S2 like the devil unless you want something that appears warm because it's a little green-ish. The efficiency doesn't outweigh the tints that have been showing up. Also twice the batteries, twice the runtime.

Does the BA20 have a reasonable flood beam? Will energizer lithiums overheat this light?

BA10 on a 14500. Probably in the 400+ lumen range by my own interpolations w/ a lux meter and comparing to a lithium AA. And the forward clicky is a nice touch.

I have a BA20. It is a great general utility light for me. I can tuck it under my arm, the momentary is very quick and easy, and running on NiMH gives me worry free lumens on a safe chemistry. Whenever it gets dirty, I run it under water and its back to perfect condition.

I'd get the BC20, if it had a neutral R5 xp-g. The extra $10 for S2 isn't worth it.
BA10 is the most versatile.
