Not sure if this is old news but I was sent a very useful plug n play guide. It describes all the different product configurations and specifications including the V Portable (only 1000 hour lifetime).
I was not able to find it on their website so I published it here http://home.icon.co.za/~bdorfan/luxeon/PNP.pdf . If someone can find a link to it on the Lumileds site then please mention it here as I am sure it will oad a lot quicker than my link.
