Hds Executive Runtime on RCR123

I want to take the plunge and buy an HDS Executive 120 clicky. I would like to run the light on a protected rcr123 and was wondering if anybody has any experience with this light's runtime in the various modes. I would prefer an HDS with a more throwy beam.

On my HDS 170T I get 1.2 hours on AW ICR, 1.3 hours on AW IMR.

If you want a more throwy beam you should go for the HDS 170 T.

The current 120s and 170s use the same LED, the Osram Golden Dragon. The difference between the two, is that the 170s use any and all more efficient LED's. So, on the same output, the 170 will get a better runtime.

Due to the higher surface brightness of the 170 vs the 120, the 170 will throw (slightly) further, and seem brighter, but it shouldn't make a "huge" difference.
