Hi all,

I am already regreting this as I type:shakehead I want to put up for sale probably the brighters Surefire L1 bezel ever made to date.

Delivered in the U.S. $350**SOLD**SOLD***.

Here is what you get:

  • SST-90, highest 65K tint cutter sells
  • Copper heatsink
  • LED to copper bonding**NO STAR**
  • 4.8A at tail via IMR 18650
  • 1301 OTF lumens via IMR 18650
  • Double coated AR lens
  • Flat polished bezel
  • Aleph 18500 Body
  • AW 18500 cell
  • Surefire Type III Tailcap Twistie
  • E-compatible will all E-series bodies
  • Comes with 3 Reflectors. Flood, Med, and Throw. But I will leave the flood on since it gives nicest beam.
With the Aleph 18500 cell at 3.8V input it still pulls 3.2A at the tailcap and confirmed while at DarkSucks lab/CNC shoppe yesterday that it does over 900 real OTF lumens at such low current. Darksucks was in awe, but then I told him with IMR 18650 cell it does 4.8a and 1301 OTF lumens. Anyhow, topped off the AW 18500 and it does 4.2~4.3A at the tail which is still well over 1100 OTF and super nice small EDC package. You can still use IMR 18500 for more current and more lumens too. The tailcap is a twistie and will not melt.

It gets toasty at 1min if you indoors only. You must keep it in the hand while on thats for sure.

this light get alot of attention cause the size the brute lumens almost too bright its funny. Expenisve build, but the laughs and disbelief attention it gets = priceless

When I used it last on an outdoor hike you can actually let it run till the cell depletes without turning it off due to the hand absorbing the heat. Then it just stays just slightly warm, but during the nite walk it was about 60 degrees which probably helped keep it cool.

I'm going to miss that little hand warmer! That thing was just sick in a  way! I can see breaking that out when the neighbor comes over with his new MagLED, modded or not, and seeing the priceless look of disbelief in their face as you turn that thing on and light up everything with a light the size of a E2L!

I thought this would have sold already since copper heatsinks are ubber expensive and this light not only has a copper heatsink, but its threaded and has LED to copper bonding.

To make this a super speedy sale the price is now sweeter as I added something special:

$350 Delivered in the U.S.

  • Added Aleph black 18500 body.. Yes, its bored.
  • Surefire Twistie Tailcap old school twistie
  • AW 18500 new cell with label removed.
Check out the lego now:

Off a AW 17670 cell it will still generate over 1100 OTF lumens easily via 4A~4.3A at the tailcap.

You can only use 1 cell.

If the Ti pack was mine, I would ask someone to bore it to 18mm to use IMR 18650 cells. With these cells it does 1300ish OTF lumens.

BigC I received the L1 SST-90 today. This is unbelievable even in the house in daylight. I'll try it out tonight with an 18650 imr and a zero Resistance tailcap...Many Thanks, Robert.
