OK i changed the emitter on a KL1 with a R2K HD, the KL1 is on a McLux 2x123 powerpack. I recently recieved a ARC LSH-P and figured it would be as bright but smaller. To my suprise the KL1 is WAY brighter. At first i was not thinking regulated and figured it must be the additional cell in the KL1/McLux so i took the KL1 head off and used a piece of wire to power it with 1x123. The brightness remained the same still way brighter then the LSH-P.
Is this due to the "R" bin in the KL1 or is the current delivered to the KL1 and ARC different?
Also can someone give me the details on taking the ARC apart i have a couple of Fraen LP's on order and would love to put one in the ARC. Will the LP drop right in?
