Fenix TK35 no high and turbo mode.

Hello,

High and turbo mode worked fine first day. On second day when I switch to high and turbo mode, its getting same light output as that of medium.
Is it due to the battery or its a flashlight defect?

Im using 18650 from laptop batteries. Think it must have lost power? Im waiting for panasonic 18650 2900mah which i already ordered. Is this a good battery?

Steven, That is the usual indication the batteries need charging or changing. Just had a similar problem with a different light, problem turned out to be a bad or wrong charger for the cells. Used different (better) charger and everything worked.

It works properly now. Turns out to be bad batteries. Got some cr123a lithium in it.

Means these are not protetced?
Means they have been drained too much - throw them away, no longer safe.

Get "protected" 18650s instead
