I got back from trick or treating with my daughter a while ago. I brought:

HDS 170T with 17670 tube
Quark 123^2 Titanium
Zebralight SC51W
Fenix E05
Quark AA^2 modded with Cree High CRI XP-G

What'd you bring?

SF 6P w/ Malkoff M61, and a spare set of cells.

Escorted the neighbours kid and her gaggle of friends around the area (the parent was unable to make it home in time and rang me up).

Got home from the gym and put a box of mini chocolate bars out just in time before we went 'outside the wire' to gather intel (candies).

By the time the kids were ready, the entire box of chocolate bars, including the cardboard ... was gone.

In hindsight, I wish I brought my iPod.

I posted this in another thread, but...

Here's what I had on me:

Maratac AAA Stainless (one of my edc's)
RRT-0 R2 Version
Solarforce L2i with XP-G R5 3-mode drop-in
HDS-200 Clicky (my other edc)
Solarforce MPP1 in a belt holster under my coat.

I anticipated giving the L2i to my sister-in-law and the RRT-0 loaded with a Duraloop AA (so it wouldn't be so bright) to my 3yr old nephew.

My sister-in-law didn't go and my nephew didn't ask to use a light!

So I used my HDS with a water bottle cap as a diffuser on moonlight and when cars came I clicked it to the slow beacon. Preset B = 35ish lumens and 200 lumens were only a click or two away. The bottle cap is GREAT for creating a lot of light to see where your walking without being too bright for others.

5 lights was a little overkill but as I said, I anticipated giving 2 of those to others to use.

My daughter is still pretty young, so we only went to a few houses. I gave her a Xeno E03 XM-L, and I carried a Quark AA2 Turbo. She of course wanted mine, because it was brighter.

I had a Quark RGB, a TK40, HDS Rotary 200, and a sst50 pocket rocket plus a sst90 based light with me. I used the RGB in red mode mostly with the sst50 in my other hand to light it up when it was needed.
I let my wife use the 6P with the M61W drop in, plus she had her quark123 and SF L2 with her.

I ended up using a green A2L and had a M3 w/MN11 strapped to my hip. I was in costume so I also had a Helion headlamp on the Petzl helmut I was wearing (I went dressed as a search and rescue guy).

I had really old cells in the A2L and when I got home they main beam quit. Hows that for timing?!

I brought a Fenix TK41 thrower, a Klarus XT20 1200 lumen flooder, and two armytek predators, one SMO and other OP. Was even amazed myself at night!!!

One of the people we went out with had a 4 cell Maglite that looked about a yard long. I'm not sure how old the batteries were, but my SC51w was brighter!

Fenix PD31. My wife said that it produced "Flashlight Envy" from some of the dads that were part of the group.

We had no power here, and a curfew in place on top of that. Zebralight sc600 on the lower of the two mediums worked great, with High for the WOW factor if a larger group approached... :) (No mischief, please... I can see you!)

Unfortunately, because of the mountains of storm debris, in the fact that there is no power, there wasn't a halloween here at all. However, I took my shining beam xthrower with fresh a w's down the street to the houses were the kids were to give them halloween "treat bags" that had candy, some small toys, and these little finger led lights I got off ebay. Being a parent myself,I realized how hard it is to keep the kids entertained during a halloween that never happened..

I passed a group while I was wandering back from the train station on my way home, and got lots of comments from the kids about how cool my RRT3 was

I carried my Quark AA Tactical. Used it mainly on the low setting.

Well I tried not to run the little boogers over as a lot of em, including parents with em didn't have lights. I was on duty, so I carried my Nitecore SR3, Streamlight Ultra Stinger cree mod, Streamlight Microstream. Think I'm gonna recommend that we do some PR next year and give out chem lites or something.
