I know there's an Elektrolumens forum in the marketplace but I thought it would get more attention here.

I already have a TK35 but like the idea of a one cell light that is 1000 lumens. Given how it's on sale right now for $99, do you think there would be a noticeable difference? I'm guessing it won't throw quite as far due to the smaller size of everything.

Difference won't be noticeable + after a few minutes TK35 will be brighter because EDC is probably unregulated. Don't forget that more focused light appears brighter than it really is. Fenix is much more versatile because of multiple modes, one more cell gives longer runtime.

Hmm, good points. Runtime appears to be the same at an hour though, though using lower settings on the TK35 will of course give a longer runtime.

Have there been any new ones that beat the TK35 in the same basic size?
