I have a TK45 for a while now and not a single issue with any switch on my Fenix lights.

I've been using my TK41 for a year now. Its not an EDC obviously but does get a fair ammount of use, especially around the camp site (the wifes favorite light) I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with their switches over time? Should I expect any durability issues with this kind of electronic switch?

No issues with mine yet either.

At this point I have used my TK41 more than I had used my TK40 when its switch gave out, but the TK40 also had an electronic type switch so they can fail... (and in the case of my TK40 it was disappointingly fast)

This thread should really include the TK45 as this had the sidewinder switch before the TK41.

My TK45 now has a different feel between the on/off and mode changing switch. The on/off has become 'softer'. This happened following a full run on turbo and the light got quite hot. No further changes since.

So far the TK41 has not changed.
