It's no way you are getting 1000 (real) lumens from a standard xm-l p60, it must be overdriven pretty hard to actually reach 1000 lumens. The extra heat from the overdrive will make it hard to actually reach 1000 real lumens. I think the quad xp-g modules might be the brightest.
My torchlab triple xp-g R4 (rated at 1000 lumens) is brighter than any of my "1000 lumens" el-cheapo xxx-fire xm-l modules. And it only got 3 neutral xp-g's.

do you have a website where I can buy the torchlab triple xp-g R4?

Does it fit a 6p body?

how long can it run the 1000 lumens drop in?

-I can give you a link to the web page. (Against the rules to direct link). http://www.oveready.com/

-It's made to fit perfectly in a surefire. Got mine fitted in a malkoff md-4 (was a lot of work but got a hi/lo mode now).

-depends on what batteries you are planning to use. Normal 2xcr123 wont be able to deliver the power in a safe way. (read all the warnings) You will need 2 x IMR16340's , or get a extender for the 6p and use bigger batteries.

The p60 quads mentioned by enomosiki will be even brighter. You can find them on the cpfmarkedplace.

Vannisle quad you need a AW IMR18650. To get about 30 min of run time at 1700 lumens.
It's an unprotected cell sl never run it down
I think a single IMR16340 will give you 7 min of run time ;)
