Has anyone tried the Fenix S2 version yet?

I just wonder what the beam and color will be like. I am waiting for a dealer to get in the PD32 S2 so they can compare the current version to the S2 for me. I am going to get whichever one has the nicer beam pattern and color.

If those Fenix S2's are like the Quarks of old which had the S2 leds, those are crappy green tint.

Yeah, Fenix outfitters is a good place to buy fenixes. I like how they go the extra mile to take a beamshot.

Cheers:)

Why are they bothering with the S2? Why not just go to an XM-L? That said, I have the PD32-R5 and I like it a lot and is one of my most used lights. I use a 18650 in it.

Good one, Bwolcott!! Does the circuitry in the Fenix lights shut the light down when the battery voltage drops to a certain level, or the Turbo mode stop working when the voltage drops?
