Hello guys,

Pls look at this litte guy,

Olight S10

Key features

1. Utilizing the newest Cree XM-L LED, the highest output reaches 320 lumens;
2. Three adjustable brightness levels, can be changed "low-middle-high–middle–low" in cycle, the moonlight mode can be accessed directly when the flashlight is off; double click the on/off button to activate strobe mode;
3. Equipped with auto memory function and a side switch, the total length is only 70.5mm;
4. With strong magnet at the tail, the flashlight can be attached vertically on any iron surface;
5. With a two-direction invertible pocket clip, easy and reliable for use;
6. Stainless steel head ring, can bear higher impaction;
7. Flat tail cap allows convenient tail standing;
8. High efficiency constant current drive circuit; perfectly compatible with CR123A and RCR123 battery;
9. Battery reverse polarity protection.

my impressions,

+ excellent build quality, nice anodizing, smooth threads
+ dust free lens and reflector
+ perfect beam quality (thanks to LOP reflector and perfectly centered led)
+ all modes are ok, no pwm flickering
+ side switch, very comfortable
+ SS bezel ring
+ separated moonlight mode

other comments,

short runtime for me in high mode with RCR battery, but ok this is an CR123 light...I think Olight S20 (18650) coming soon..
would be better two tail cap, magnetic and normal tail cap without magnet

Now, here is my pictures, beamshots coming soon. Please click pictures if you need higher res

Nice pictures!

What's your impression of the switch? Would you feel comfortable carrying it in your pocket with your keys that it probably wouldn't activate accidentally without needing to lockout the tailcap?

Also, does it look like the magnet could be easily removed?

This, and a follow up: When you say runtime is short while on an RCR, how much time you get when running on max (and this would include the auto-stepdown)?

You can't remove the magnet.

Will light stick on a vertical metal wall? ( sideways)
Yes, easily.

Yes.

I don't know exactly but, I tried with Cytac 16340 650mAh (new battery)

6x4 minutes

00:00:00 - 4.14V
00:16:00 - 3.75V
00:20:00 - 3.61V
00:24:00 - 3.48V (stopped the "test", but high mode still working)

How do you access moonlight mode from off?
Press switch and hold approx. 1 sec and moonlight mode is active. It's simple.

Start - 4.14V (medium 0.13A, high 0.95A)

hh:mm:ss
01:00:00 - 3.92V
01:15:00 - 3.86V
01:30:00 - 3.83V
01:45:00 - 3.80V
02:00:00 - 3.75V
02:15:00 - 3.69V
02:30:00 - 3.62V
02:45:00 - 3.56V
03:00:00 - 3.50V (medium 0.16A, high 1.30A)
03:15:00 - 3.42V
stop test: 03:30:00 - 3.29V (medium 0.16A, high ~1.60A+)

~3.00V battery protection kicks in, no flashing, no step down

voltage meter: cottonpickers li-ion usb charger

Will it reach the 320L high with a CR123 primary or is that exclusive to the RCR123? Is it really floody with its small, shallow reflector and XM-L?

It looks really cool.

I just pulled the trigger. How far does the switch 'travel' to activate the light? I can see the button emboss to the surface. Is it a traditional switch or electronic type? My concern is how easily will it be turned on in pocket. Thanks.

Looks like there is a lighted button? Or is it glowing? I thought the battery indicator under the switch was red. Thanks.
