Hi all,
I have had nothing but problems ever since I purchased a E2E/KL1 combo..
The KL1 was faulty as it was intermittent.
That is back at surefire, and I am waiting for my replacement.
Now I purchased some new batteries on ebay called: tekcell cr123a
I put them in my e2e with the stock lamp and it lights for about 2 seconds before fading to nothing. I put them in my arc ls and they work fine.
I wonder has anyone used these batteries in a e2e without problems or maybe it is the e2e itself.

never had problems with any other brand light before.

I purchased a 10 pack of those batteries..
It's just kind of frustrating I'm not having good luck with the e2e or batteries.

I dug up a used panasonic and put it in with a new tekcell in the e2e and it lights up normally.

hmm these must be really cheap batteries.

I bought some of those generic yellow label 123's (not the BR-123 cells) and they do not give satisfactory performance in a hi-performance incandescent light (i.e. a SF w/HOLA). They work o.k. in an LED light.

I would stick with a name brand cell...
