Inexpensive 250 Lumens

Was at *ostco today and bought a 3 pack of Cree 250 lumen AAA flashlights for $15, including Duracell batteries. That's $5 each, something that a short while ago was far more expensive. Hi - Lo - Strobe tailcap clicky. How durable will have to wait and see. Is there any future left for incandescent flashlights?

They're the same techlites as we've all seen before with XP-Gs instead of the XR-Es/etc of older models.
For the price of $5-$10 each, they're not horrible lights. Machining tends to be pretty poor.

There have been posts recently about these new version of Costco lights already-- cpf/google search.

Perhaps a few lucky ones might find homes in museums...for folks to ponder at, and think...

Yes Badbeams, perhaps they will be like just an antique material kept in the exhibition for looking at it for the kids visiting the museum for the old technology as Led Lighting have replaced it with a big time
