Old Maglite has a bulb with two prongs. How to change to the newer sty;e?

I have acouple replacement bulbs for my incan maglite I just discovered I cannot use. I went to replace the old bulb and it has two prongs that go into a white plastic piece with two holes. Is there anyway to change it over to take the more modern incan bulbs?

If it's an old Maglite it wouldn't use those bulbs unless it was a Magcharger. What do you have?

Its an older maglite, reading through that thread it looks like I actually took the bulb from a newer 4D I bought and installed a malkoff in. Instead of taking the original bulb I installed the new 4D buld in my old 3D. (If all that makes sense)
