4535? As in 453x453x453x453x453, or am I missing something? Otherwise that's a helluva lotta lumens

Lol, no it's just 453 lumens.
If you scroll down on the eagletac product page you can see some grey text, that 5 refers to number 5 in that text.
5. Turbo boost technology is activated every time you turn on at turbo output setting. It offers 20% more power to the LED for the first 200 seconds at turbo mode.

Yup the new D25C pumps out 1.9x1013 lumens on turbo.

Still not much compared to the sun at ~6.84x1027 lumens according to a Google search. But pretty good for a single cr123 ;)

Seriously tho I'm holding out for the new XM-L2 D25s too. I emailed eagletac-usa a week ago, no reply yet.

The very day I went to their Web site to order a D25C and a D25LC2 they put up the preorder information for the updated XM-L2 U2. So I'm waiting.

All Eagletac D25 XM-L2 U2 models appear to be in stock and ready to ship at LightJunction.

I'm sure other vendors will be receiving their stock soon too.

I've been waiting for goinggear.com to get them in stock. Thanks for sharing that LightJunction has them. I just ordered my D25C clicky XM-L2. Also ordered an EagleTac 16340 while I was at it. Not too shabby after the CPF discount. :)

^ BTW GUYS! I totally screwed up with lightjunction.com. lol. They have a 15% discount code right now, which is better than the 12% CPF discount. Sucks for me, but don't mess it up when you guys order. The discount code for 15% is 2013hop15

D25LC2 XM-L2 and an Eagletac Panasonic 3400mAh 18650, with discount code, ordered from lightjunction! I'll post back when it ships and arrives to confirm they are really there.

Thank you so much Panges, what a deal with that code. I'm glad I checked this thread when I got up in the middle of the night... addicted to flashahol....

Now I need to get a Li-Ion charger, xtar maybe, not i4 bec i'd rather have different amp settings for different batteries. I should go back to sleep, need to do some more research on chargers tmrw...

lol. Glad I could help, although it was GordoJones88 who mentioned they were in stock at lightjunction. :D

Check out the cottonpickers charger in the marketplace. I have one of his chargers and it works quite well. A little on the pricier side, but you can choose different amp settings. I believe he has a octa-charger w/ 8 different amp settings. lol.

Cottonpicker looks cool, but limited to USB 500 to 600 mA max and it's just one cell at a time?

Anyway my one mistake was not just ordering the i2 charger for $15 - discount promo along w/ the flashlight and battery... I kept going back and forth abt whether to get an Xtar for li-ion and a separate eneloop charger, or the i2 for both.

I left the i2 out of my order, then wound up paying $5 more for it on amazon a few hours later anyway...

Edit, returned the i2, bought an Xtar wp2 ii, and a
Sony NiMH charger.

Yeah, the cottonpickers charger only charges one cell at a time. :(

My light shipped yesterday as well and will be here on thursday. Can't wait!
