Hi All,

I'm a semi-recent lurker and new forum user. I thought I would share a recent project with you guys!
I work for a small IC design company, and we've created a few LED drivers!

We recently fabricated some demo units to show off our capabilities. They are by no means meant to be used as a flashlight, although they are certainly fun to play with.

Here are some fun facts:
- we designed our own aluminum PCBs to solder the LED's to
- all circuit and control boards were designed in house
- the housing is made out of marine grade aluminum alloy.
- we are driving 4x CREE XPG LEDs @ ~300mA
- we are using 4x AA batteries @ 6V boosted up to ~12V+

Enjoy the pictures!

Any other photos? The build quality is excellent.

Any beamshots/nightshots?

Hi khrystyan27, sorry for not responding sooner! I have been relatively busy with other projects, but yes, I can get you some beamshots / nightshots. The demo unit is geared toward showcasing the brightness adjustment, so the beamshots might not be that impressive.

We actually have another unit that we glued some lenses onto, which actually produces a nice flood.

I'll try and get some photos posted soon!
