I always wanted to try to clip a 2x18650 light to my pants pocket or, with the clip reversed, mount it on my cowboy hat. I think i am watching too much Justified

Great series, one of my favorites!

Crap! I bought one of the ST11's a while ago. It's a nice light but the one Glenn made for me last week is more lumens and better throw.

This is really nice and useful feature. I am trying to mount my flashlights with DIY adapters.
One disadvantage that I see in this flashlight is lack of good medium mode,but probably the step-down will compensate that.

One battery more but 20 hour less runtime on the 1 lumens mode?? How is that possible?
And also the 15 lumens mode is less. And on medium it isn't also great for the ST30.

Yeah I had a look at those specs also and even compared it to many other new lights. dont understand this light at all, double the battery power and less runtime than other single 18650s. do they think people just want aesthetically longer lights for some reason? They could just put a crazy long spring in this, the size of an 18650 so the light would only need to be single 18560 so at least it would be lighter... I dono...weird

We don't know what batteries are used in the runtime test.Maybe 2200mAh:duh2:
