Of the two lights, is the EagleTac SX25A6 - 1130 Lumens considerably brighter?

SX26A6 has a much larger reflector, so it will have better throw. So the biggest difference is the diameter of the spot and the runtime.

when I compare the diameter of the circle of the two lights being shown on the wall

the EAGLETAC GX25A3 XM-L2 U2 have a larger light circle diameter

the SX26A6 has a smaller light circle diameter

does the larger head of the SX26A6 gives it a smaller light circle diameter and hence thats why it is brighter?

The larger reflector concentrates the beam more, making it more intense since the same lumens are distributed over a smaller area.
