Question for Armytek Viking v2.5 (regular) owners

Seriously thinking about pulling the trigger on one soon.
I need it to be able to come on in Low from off.
One review says it has no mode memory - and it's unclear what mode it would start on.
Another review says it has mode memory but it's not clear if that persists over a long time.

Lastly, how has the light been for you? I'm hoping for no glitches

No , it doesn't come on in Low from off and it doesn't have mode memory - go for PRO version mate , it's worth it

No glitches. Mine comes on in low mode from off w head loosened. It only has mode memory while on. I think it's a great light. I like the UI much better than the pro.

I'd forgotten about this post. don't know how you dragged this up.
Nice to see that the two responses parallel the contradictory info I got in the two reviews. I guess some come on in low and some don't.:thinking: Seems like a good light but I think i'm going for a different option now. I still have not decided.

Selfbuilt's one works like mine - quote '' With the head loosened, you get the choice of three modes accessed in sequence by soft pressing or clicking the tail switch off/on: Middle > Lo > Lower Lo, in a repeating loop ''
