Help Identifying Bulb

Hi All,

I'm new to the forums and need some help. The light bulb in my ceiling light went out this morning. After unscrewing the cover I noticed the image below and have no idea what kind of bulb it is and if I'm even able to replace it (3 pics below).

Can anyway help me figure out what bulb it is and if it's something I can replace on my own?

P.S. I live in a pretty old apartment complex

out of curiosity, what country do you live in, and what is the voltage used by the bulb?

Halogen T3?

This looks like a R7S halogen. Easy enough to replace, just remove the protective cover and push the bulb to one side. It should have the wattage written on the endcap of the bulb.

Make sure you don't touch the replacement bulb when installing (use a cloth) otherwise any fingerprints could cause premature failure of the bulb.

tube halogen, usually from 150 to 500w, every hardware store in usa sells them, they are used in work lights. and wall lights, and tall, standing lamps. i just refitted my bathroom fixture that used 2 of these, with leds, still have both bulbs sockets and glass covers, no need for them, if anyone wants, will give them away for only price of the shipping.

Without the cover the tube can cause injury if it breaks in use and can also emit damaging UV.
