Looking at the x2 AA 3w TK-566 extended version I was wondering if a second extension could be added on so it took 3AA batteries?
Also, with the extended version, which I understand to include a screw on extender, can the back cap be removed to shorten the torch down to the single AA size, will that work?
If so are there differences with the lights used i.e. a single battery will not be sufficient for the packaged double version?
