Close, but they're actually rated @ EDIT:Use Energizer Ultimate Lithiums, those can push 3A continuouse and at 2,25A mine dropped only to 1,2 V

EDIT: 2.5A continuousClose, but they're actually rated @ 2A continuous and 4A pulse (2 on / 8 off). Of course one can probably push things beyond their design point, albeit generally at some penalty. They're still the best performance there is (in that format) though, so I'm certainly not knocking them, and I do use and recommend them, and there's really no viable substitute at colder temps..
I recall that, but didn't understand it. Maybe those Zebra critters don't like the higher voltage(?). One of the Zebraphiles who haunt the Z-light thread might have an explanation.
