Well 50 lumens is hardly noticeable, but the output-options you have with a ZL is superb. And runtime is very long on the lower modes 
If given the choice, with cost not being a factor, I'd go with the Zebralight every time.
On the other hand if I already owned a TN12, there would be no way I'd pay all over again for the SC600-II.
The mode spacing is nice as are the low lows, and I like its appearance, but it's just not any sort of noteworthy upgrade.

Sadly, I can't offer much insight there, since I own neither.
I don't think anything mass-produced in this form-factor will offer a significant upgrade at this time.
