As far as I know it's only compatible with similarly designed lights like the 6PX. The Fury head won't fit directly onto any of the older SureFire lights like the 6P, Z2, C2, etc. The biggest benefit from getting the head off is that you can now have your stock body bored out to accept 18650 batteries or go with one of the aftermarket 18650 bodies out there.

Great question.

They have a Fury Scout now. Not sure, if that qualifies, but it does give a few ideas.

The Fury Scout Light head has an adapter to make it work with the standard Scout Light body. I haven't tried too hard to take mine apart but the adapter seems to be secured with locktite.

The Scout Light head works just fine with E-series bodies even though it leaves a little gap between the head and body :twothumbs

Thanks, I have a new P1R and the fury is a slippery little sucker compared. I will check out the am 18650 bodies though, thanks for the info.
