Can I use RCR123A/16340 batteries in my TerraLUX TT-4? I read a review and can't find any other info. I'm not willing to take a chance on destroying my TT-4 just to find out. I bought 4 Nitecore 16340 NL166 650mAh Protected Button Tops for other lights and would like to use these only in an emergency or if no other batteries are charged.
I'm currently using Sohsine 18650 3400mAh Button Top Protected and Panasonic CGR18650 2450mAh Flat Top Un Protected batteries. These batteries give good run time. Are these ok to use or is a better battery available that I don't know about?
My TT-4 starts to flicker when unprotected batteries need to be changed and I also note the loss of brightness. Is this documented somewhere, please point me to more info if available.
