Hello out there.
A friend of mine sent me his FireFly to mess with. While I had it, I decided to drop a Fraen LP optic into it. I've got to say that these optics sure do loose a lot when you turn them down that small. Even the NX05 that was in it had sort of a cheese grater sort of beam to it that wasn't noticeable until I got the high dome into it.
Anyway, I turned the LP down, but removed as little material as possible. I discovered that it now actually has side spill. Very nice for a pocket light.
Has anyone else had this experience or is it just something about the FireFly?
