DQG IV 3 low 60 high, dropped low mode

I have been EDCing a DQG IV for a little over a year.

I really like the light, in NW, and the modes are right on. Today I went to turn it on, and it lost it's low mode... only has high.

The battery is fully charged. What should I look for as the culprit?

That sucks. I don't know what to tell you. I really like my DQG slim AAA. I used the promo code that was floating around to buy two for half price. Liking them so much, I tried to buy another one but the code has expired.

If you can, try and hook the head up to battery to eliminate the tube from the equation.

The problem has to be in the driver.

Yeah, it does suck.

I am pretty upset. This is my second. The first came with goobered threads, and Erik was kind enough to replace it. But now this one, the driver crapped out!? Today, it lost both high and low. On high the LED glows. OK... so I was able to swap the head of the one with the goobered threads, onto the other body, and I still have a good light, but what shall I do next year?
