I am hoping someone can help me with my fustrating issue... Bought this torch on ebay hoping to enjoy a really bright torch.
Arrived and was reasonably please with the torch but then being a novice I had not realised I need specific batteries for it.
It does not take AA or any standard UK battery but requires 18650 type batteries for torches.
So bought some of these from amazon *link removed considering the great reviews they had.
On arrival I was finally excited to try out my new torch.
However the battery housing in the torch was too tight... I made the mistake of forcing the batteries into the housing... which tore of the plastic battery casing.
Unsurprisingly the torch did not work. So I have some questions
Sorry for being such a novice in this area but any help would be very much appreciated.
Here are some photos of my torch disaster.

Unsurprisingly the torch did not work. So I have some questions
- Are these batteries now useless (the ones that have lost their casing)
- also do you think I will have damaged the torch
- What batteries would fit my torch... are there smaller versions of the 18650 type battery.
- The circuit board is not properly attached to the main torch housing... should I glue this in place?
