Anybody else go to the brink of insanity waiting for their light take insanely long to show up? With the Christmas rush I was getting pretty worried watching this one wind around the country on a route that didnt seem to make any sense. LOL
It just arrived so im feeling much better. :D

I have been living with my uncle since thanksgiving and I came home for christmas.
My grandfather bought one for me and one for himself a flashlight, 2 18650's, and two chargers, at the time we did not know that I would be staying so they were shipped to Idaho, after they arrived they were shipped by my parents to California, but now I am back in Idaho. :hairpull:

I ordered a C8 from fasttech. Waiting for 5 weeks already. Tracking info doesn't update. 'Despatched to overseas (DE)' since 12/3...

All I know for sure is that if you use the USPS for anything this is what seems to happen more than not.
Does this mean it is really worth the slightly lower cost?

^^ pffft usps is the best.

I get stuff quicker...way quicker from them than ups or fed ex.
And tracking for 2-3 day shipping is spot on.
There's a reason Mr. Malkoff and Elzetta use that and it aint because it's cheaper.

My Zebralight SC600 Mk II L2 18650 XM-L2 ordered from Zebralight 0n 12/16 and shipped Priority Mail due 12/21 is lost some where in the Post Office.

If I begin to get upset, I just think of the many tragedies that appear everyday in the news, and think how lucky I am that my problem is so small.

I love it when checking the tracking at work and it says 'delivered'.
There have been days I left work early when that happened....

One wasn't supposed to arrive until tomorrow. Tracking still says the 29th, but I've had it nearly a week now.

Ordered November the 29th, my Nitecore EC4S still hasn't arrived. It's now showing in local post service's tracking and should be here next week, if I don't have to do the declaration for customs. The worst part was when I wasn't able to track the package for 2 weeks.

It was the first thing I ordered before Christmas and seems to be the last one to arrive. I hoped it would have arrived before Christmas and later to arrive before New Year's eve, so I could have played around with it before it snowed when the darkness was pitch black. Now I'm hoping for it just to arrive.

I ordered some DQG ti spys and a DQG charger from 3rd party sellers on Amazon on 11/22. I got the charger on I think 12/05, as it came from a different vendor than the Spys. Anyway...12/01, the lights show accepted for shipment from Sweden. 12/11, processed through sort facility. 12/23, the lights make it to the u.s. (Michigan). 12/29, they make it to my local post office and go out for delivery. Postman tries to deliver but SIGNATURE REQUIRED!!!! :hairpull: I was getting text message updates for post office tracking, so I knew they attempted to deliver. I don't get off work in time to make it to the p.o. so I have my wife stop by. They tell her its still out on the truck and I would have to go back tomorrow. So 12/30, I leave work early as we experienced record flooding and all the roads but one (2 interstates and 2 state hwys) had already closed and I didn't want to get stranded on the wrong side of the river for the new years weekend. So I arrive at the post office, only to find it closed as the flood waters had gotten to it, and were still rising. That meant more waiting. I went back on Saturday, 01/02/16 and luckily the p.o. was open and I was able to pick up my lights.

Awe man...that musta sucked bro!!
Glad that light at the end of the tunnel wasn't a train this time.

Unannounced sig required is so annoying!!

My postman leaves a label I can sign...nowadays the UPS guy has to have my e-autograph on his device.

I should have been following the tracking of my package today as it showed it had arrived my post office. They only send a paper note when they've got the package, but I could have gone to pick it up with the tracking number. The post office is closed tomorrow so I have to wait one more day! If I were to wait for the paper note, I might be able to get it on Friday or even later. Good to know it's there anyway. I have time to charge the batteries and plan everything super cool I'm gonna do with the light.

Ha yep I've done this too. When I got my first 18650 light, a Thrunite TN12, I was so excited for it that I left at least an hour early. The feeling of having something out there floating around in postal world can be agonizing and a helpless feeling though. I'm having a time trying to get my ToolVN the past couple days. It better be at the PO this time when I get there today...
