The Nitecore SRT series lights also have the control ring.

The Acebeam K40 uses a control ring. A couple different versions from thrower to wide area lighting.

Don't forget the JetBeam Rapid Ring Tactical (RRT) series and Niteye's Tactical series (Tho marketed by same parent)

I love my little Sunwayman Revolution (V11R)

Yes as NNA states nitecore and jetbeam have options, acebeam too. The x40 and x60 are both infinite and the 18650 T10,not infinite but control ring UI then k40/k50/k60/k70 all have them.

Thrunite too, tn32UTvn /tn35 to name two for now.............

What size/type of light are you wanting, from 16340 to 6x 18650 in size options.

I just got to visit Going Gears flashlight wall yesterday and I'm no longer interested in a Nitecore SRT. I really wanted a SRT 5, but the ring feels horrible and like it wouldn't last long. The Acebeam seamed better, I didn't check Jetbeam, and my Sunwaymans have been great. Also, my HDS Rotary is amazing, but that's on a whole other level.

You need to try more than one of the SRT lights. The first SRT7 I looked at felt gritty. The second one was as smooth as silk.

Big difference in price between Nitecore and HDS.

The Nitecore is mass produced while the HDS is hand built.

I'd venture that Nitecore manufacturers more SRT5 or SRT7's lights in one hour than HDS
In a year.

The 16340 size first then maybe the 18650.
I saw a vid of one of the variable lights that also excepted 14500 cells but i cant find it now.
Does anyone recall?

HDS is out of my range....dang it.

The V11r comes with an adapter so that it can run either 123 or 14500(AA) batteries.
Mine has never been on anything but AA.
Great Light!

My favorite is the Surefire Titan T1A but good luck finding one.

The SWM V11R is 16340/cr123 or with ext AA/14500 and infinite control.............its a great light and had mine a while now. Can not fault it other than the cool tint, would love an LED swap.......

This is how i prefer it, 16340 flavour

I somehow got one of the elusive NW versions and it is even more amazing than the standard version which I then sold.

I pretty much stick with AA form lights when I can which is another reason I love this light so much.

I need to send it vinh, but its just getting round to it and i just forget till someone mentions it:devil:

I would like an xp-l HI 4000-5000k or a triple.............maybe a nichia even..........

Not even bothered about much of a current bump as around 500lm give/take is enough from the little light..........

Just a comment on the longevity of SWM magnetic control rings. Whilst maybe a bit bigger than the aforementioned lights in this thread, my SWM V20C 423lm ( original one ) has never given cause for complaint. It hasn't loosened or otherwise failed, in regular use, and is as smooth as the day I purchased it. I have used the light probably every other day, over its three years or thereabouts, of age.

Nice to know! Mine has never been used in anger, occasional use is a better way of putting it. Been my edc for many months one winter, in the holster so as new. Took to the lake district and wales on holiday............found it one of my most useful lights. Dial down whilst off to start real low for navigating the caravan and to not wake the kids, dial up for awning perimeter checks!

Not to mention it just slips into my pockets with ease..........

With extension for AA/14500

Super low

Defo a :twothumbs from me.........

Ven. If you want a Nichia 219 A/B/C. Send it to me.

:)

Oops. Remember that the reflector is sized for XML. If you want 5C1 neutral tint XML2, let me know.
