Looking to purchase my first high powered flashlight. I can get either of these for the same price of $80. Which one would you choose? Anything better in this catagory?

Ohhh that is a good one. I like both as well.. heck I just pulled the trigger on a catapult v6 over the tc20 and/or r50.

Id go with tc20 for the sole reason it has firefly mode and a lower low.

It's almost like a brand-specific need at this point.

Two things that comes to my mind:

1.) Whether you like the UI and modes one manufacturer offers over the other
2.) Whether you like the aesthetics of one over the other (looks, color, and output--since the TC20 offers 600 more lumens over the other)

I went with the Lumintop ODF30 because it didn't have that USB port. After it accidentally dropped from a 2-feet height, I'm kinda regretting my decision. It's glitched over :(

An R50 Pro Seeker for 80 dollars is a great price. I remember when they were 140. Even the non pro regular R50 for 80 dollars is a good price.
