Re: Is there a blue book for heavy equipment?

I can't help on dozers but I can give fairly accurate $$ on forklifts the age and condition and capacity all have an effect on price I dont believe there is a "blue book" on them, electric forklifts initial price is tempered by the battery required and the charger to accompany the unit, dual fuel units command a higher price, taller uprights; three stage or four stage raise the price, carriage attachments add, diesel power adds, out of production equipment lowers the cost due to difficulty in obtaining parts other that basic tune up parts. hope this helps

eBay is rapidly displacing local used equipment dealers as the market of choice. Every imaginable piece of industrial equipment is available there.

If you can find some local equipment dealers' catalogs, there's another frame of reference.
