Alternative to using Maglite/ variable brightness?

Havnt tried them though.

Basically, the mags are about the best, seeing how the reflectors are nice.
My complaints?..... Rubber switch boot can leak,,, switch assembly takes up WAAAAAAAYYYY too much room. Makes the light at least an inch longer than it really needs to be.

yeah i've seen those at sears but from my experience brinkmanns are more durable in general and plus the one i listed/posted a link too has 2 stage brightness built in/2 buttons and is rechargeable(though i think it can just use 2 D's)
