I think Peter has done LOADS!!

The Arc holds up pretty well under the increased load. Yet to smell any smoking bits, but I'll bet Craig will find a way

Looks good, hehe.

Nice and bright!

I'll try it once I get some N cells.

Besides, I can't do it yet anyway. I am working on a trade for my LS. I don't think they want a burned up LS.

Ok, I finally found my stash of N cells. What did you use as a stubby dummy cell to make up the extra space inside the barrel? A washer of some kind?

Look closely at his picture above. (Wad of aluminum foil)

I can't find my roll of foil. The last time I used some was to make a lampshade, and the roll disappeared sometime afterward.
Guess that means I sh*tcan a lampshade, eh?

Ok, so I did that. It's brighter, but it's not a real major milestone increase.
Relative brightness 1073 on a 123 cell, 1105 on 2 AA cells, and 1184 on 3 "N" cells. My photometer ate it, so I can't provide any real measurements in mcd or candelas. Only these relative total flux measurements.

I work nights, and I'm off tonight so I keep the same schedule on the weekends.

This same guy was selling Photons for $.99 cents each plus $3.50 shipping, well, the toilet was something else he was selling.
