White leds at low cost.

For those that would like to make with me some experiences on lasers and leds, this is a way to have white leds at about 25 cents each. You buy series of christmas lights that are in fact leds, and recuperate those mini leds by taking apart the conical reflective envelope and cutting through the plastic soket with a metal saw.

Those white leds could surely make a good home made lantern
if tried in quantity and I think car makers are on the way to announce for the future a headlight with special concentrating reflective device as I am playing with right now.
