My new light...

Hi all!

Just wanted to show you my new EDC light, It's a McGizmo made Wiz2 900 ma. PR-T, this one has a UX1K Lux3 led and can run on regular 123's or Li-ions, I like the 2 tone bezel, it matched the Vital Gear FB2, BTW The clickie on the FB2 is ultra smooth.

It throws really good, now let's show some pics.

I am wondering why is the hotspot on the UX1K bigger than on the TX1K?, I swapped reflectors to check and same thing, is the Led different? Is there a way to reduce the size of the hotspot? I like it the way it is but I would like to have an even more impressive throw monster.

BTW I'm selling The PR-T TX1K/BB500 over here

Now TX1K BB/500 PR-T, E2e/Strion, and UX1K Wiz2/900 PR-T

The 900/Wiz2 is putting a bit more lumens than the 1.6 amp Strion bulb. I like it!!! Now, any suggestions as to make the beam as tight as the TX1K?Comments?

Congratulations! That looks like a very, very nice light. I like the beam pattern.

Are you sure the hotspot is really bigger or is it just that it is brighter and thus the outer rims of the hotspot will overexpose more terrain on your digicam, making it look bigger?
