It's a Nano charger. See the link. It is under sub heading "Primary and rechargeable batteries; battery chargers"

I personally prefer the charger offered by AW which is the Ultrafire WF-139. It has double deck and charges two batteries at one go. It also charges 16340 (with the two spacers that was included), 14500, 17500, 17670, and 18650 Li-Ion as well as IMR batteries. Been using it for the last two years. Charger is turned on 24/7 and is still functioning very well.

An update to my post from back on page 4. Added a new beamshot of the Clicky 170 I got about a month ago. I tried to keep the cropping on the added pic as close as I could to the 140 and High CRI. Bushes are about 50' from camera.

4 sec shutter, ISO 100, f2.7

I would really like to see some beamshots of a T140 vs a T170 if ever a kind soul have both...

I'm curious to see how outdated is my 140...
 
The camera focus seems sharper on the High CRI and the 170, but still.. the High CRI still just pops! I love it.

I just ordered my first light. Ordered the 170 and think it was the right decision. But have already marked some funds for a High CRI when they come back into stock!
 
Tolkaze, congrats on your first Ra! It won't be your last. As I told another member, they're kinda like flashaholic crack. :devil:
 
Beamshots like these will really help those who are looking to buy an Ra decide on which one to get. That's if there is such a thing as buying just one. The difference between the three, spill, color and tighter beam really stand out. Great shots. Really makes me want to add a CRI to my 170t and 140 twisty, if for no other reason, just to see what it looks like for real.

I've been hanging onto my money to see what Henry is going to release next, but after seeing those beamshots, I gotta get a 170T to go with my 140, 100CRI and 85tr ... they're all great lights, but none of them have the throw that I see in those photos. thanks for posting them!
 
Man the 170T really throws and I know those into that like me will love it. I cant decide if I should buy another with different variations for bezel and tail cap or wait to see if something different comes up from Henry.

Is it stupid to have 2 of the same light? How new is the 170T? Where is Henry to give us a hint on new lights coming out?

I'm looking at a newly purchased HDS and
the label shows EDC-100-Ehc.
Is this a high CRI designation??
Tried the HDS site but no luck.
Any info? :duh2:

There is no need to push excessively hard. The instructions say to press "gently"...

Per the manual, the correct command is click, press-hold-release (PHR). Although triple-click, PHR will work when customization is turned off, that command will get you into the Option menu when customization is turned on.

So is it not supposed to stick on strobe at all? I can get it to do this as you say from On do a double or triple click PHR. It will then lock strobe on with no need to press button.

I tried to mess with options to do auto shut off ect but it was too confusing to mess with so I left it alone.

Does this thing have a hidden light saber mode or any other cool stuff I dont know about? Seems it does more then we know. Perhaps Henry is tracking all of us with built in GPS and doing a study on flashlight weirdos and their habits. I think I might just be a lab rat and not know it.:eek:

I've just received my new HDS High CRI light.
The plastic bag is labelled EDC-100-Ehc.
The bezel is simply engraved SN 14544 HDS Systems.

My fourth HDS torch in fact , and I must admit that I don't understand the difference between the "EDC" and the previous "Ra Clicky" labelling (140GT, 170 Tactical)...

Lumens aren't everything. I personally value good beam quality, multiple modes, and a convenient and intuitive user interface over raw brightness.

I totally agree. 99% of my EDC use requires less than 30 feet of throw which any modern light can do, so lumens is the last thing I worry about when choosing a light. I want a useful beam in an acceptable tint, levels that let me choose enough light for the job without overdoing it, size that is convenient to carry and comfortable to use, and a UI that doesn't get in my way.

That's why I'm so anxious to get the High-CRI Clicky I ordered. I have extremely high hopes for this light based on everything I've read in this forum.

Félicitations pour cette lampe merveilleuse! :wave:

Indeed, I have the same one, it's the one I like best for its nice tint and great color rendition. I even got a Twisty 19760 with the same emitter...

The difference is none that should be of interest for us (customers), Henry only wants to go "back" to HDS, abandonning "Ra". I guess he has his reasons to do so, the lights are still the same and as for the inscription, I'd rather have none at all, but unfortunately that's not an option, only an accessoire.

My dream HDS has no inscription on the bezel and no screw holes... and a slightly more powerfull high CRI emitter! :D
