    Nitecore P12 [XM-L2 T6, 1x18650, 2x(R)CR123A] Review

Why no PD35 in your review? I noticed you had one in your S20 review. Did you trade it for a PD32 UE at some point? Seems like it would have been a good one to add to the comparisons.

    Nitecore P12 [XM-L2 T6, 1x18650, 2x(R)CR123A] Review

I have had mine for about a month, and while I do like it, I find myself using the S20 L2 more often. I like the P12's mode spacing, and the throw is nice for a light of this format. I just find it a bit larger than I prefer for pocket carry, and the two switch UI is awkward to me. Just...

    Nitecore P12 [XM-L2 T6, 1x18650, 2x(R)CR123A] Review

Great review! I think if I had seen this prior to purchasing the light I may have passed on it as I'm not impressed with the sequence of step downs on max. It is a good light, but I think I may sell this one. Is the S20 in your review the L2 version?

Recommendations for alternative to Mag-Lite 3D

How much further would you like your new light to throw? If you find the throw range of your 3D mag to be adequate, but want a lot more light output to light up a much larger area (2100 lumens vs 131), the Sunwayman T60CS is a good option that can be found for a good price right now. Other...

Best all-round light for ~£50? Looking at Fenix PD35

Have you taken a look at the Olight S20 L2? Lower low, smaller size (fits in pocket better), larger hotspot and spill range, magnet in base, and can tailstand. The magnet in the tailcap and the ability to tailstand would be advantageous for car work. The S20 will not throw as far as the...

    Sunwayman V25C

Would you compare the beam to other lights in terms of brightness, throw, and profile? Perhaps the V20C and EagleTac G25C2 MKII would be a good place to start. What light that you own is most similar in beam profile to the V25C?

    Olight m22 any good?

My experience with the M22 is limited, but I played with one at a gun show for a few minutes. I would echo that the build quality impressed me and seemed quite high. I handled a few other M series Olights, a few TK series Fenix lights, some Nitecores, and Lumintops (all competing models in...

    Headlamp/ flashlight

You can get some rather impressive AA lights if you are willing to carry something that has a 3 or 4x AA. Two good ones that come to mind are the Eagletac GX35A3, the Sunwayman D40A. Both of these can be purchased in neutral white, which is what I think you are looking for. They will throw...

    Olight m22 any good?

Yeah, definitely check out selfbuilt's review! You will find the answer to most of your questions there, as well as a comparison to other lights. The M22 is probably is one of the leaders in its size category in terms of output and throw. Other notable contenders are the Eagletac G25C2...

    Headlamp/ flashlight

Good suggestions, and I would like to add that you can choose CR123 lights as well. Most of the hand held 18650 lights, such as the ones tubed mentioned, will operate on two CR123s as well. This could be to your advantage if headlamp size is a priority, as a single CR123 headlamp will be...

    Olight S20-L2 (S20 2013, XM-L2, 1x18650 2xCR123A/RCR) Review: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS+

Re: Olight S20-L2 (S20 2013, XM-L2, 1x18650 2xCR123A/RCR) Review: RUNTIMES, BEAMS... Yup, neutral LED for starters. There may or may not be a max output increase, but he has to take a look at it first. Even if he just changes the emitter to neutral, it will be a significantly improvement to...

    Olight S20-L2 (S20 2013, XM-L2, 1x18650 2xCR123A/RCR) Review: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS+

Re: Olight S20-L2 (S20 2013, XM-L2, 1x18650 2xCR123A/RCR) Review: RUNTIMES, BEAMS... Man, I really like this little light. Its super slim profile, large hotspot and spill, good mode spacing, and solid runtimes makes it one of my favorites. I'm surprised it doesn't get recommended more on the...

Sunwayman V20C or Nitecore SRT6 (or other)?

Yes, I have the V20C-Y neutral white version rated at 480 lumens. I cannot verify whether the color temperature is about 5000K, although I believe it is stated as such the product description. I can tell you that it is very obviously more neutral/warm compared to my cool white lights, that it...

Sunwayman V20C or Nitecore SRT6 (or other)?

Well, I went ahead and bought both of these lights, so I thought I would follow up with a brief comparison for anyone else who may be deciding between them. I purchased the SRT6 believing it would replace my V20C due to its higher output, newer magnetic ring design, and greater throw. It has...

    Nitecore P12 (XM-L2; 950 Lumens)

My P12 is mostly white, except for the center of the hot spot which is a little warmer with a hint of yellow. It is nothing like my Olight S20 L2, which I would consider quite green.
