Edit: A YouTube video advises to store the saw on its side with the blade up to keep it from leaking bar oil.

Glad I caught this. I have a totally different gas powered saw, but there's always a puddle of oil...quite a bit...after sitting. I wonder if this would help me?

I'm pretty sure it will. :thumbsup: I've stored the electric saw in this manner for almost a year with nary a drop.
