What types of knots could I use to make a simple wrist lanyard for a flashlight? I'm using 550 paracord and I just want to feed a single piece of rope through the lanyard hole in the flashlight and then tie the two ends together so that the knot doesn't slip under tension or come apart. It doesn't have to be real fancy but that certainly wouldn't hurt either. This is for a single AA light, so I'd like to keep the knot size in proportion.

Thanks

This one looks great, is one of the most solid knots and lots of fun to learn - so many ways to get it wrong, though, but fairly easy to inspect. The best part is that both ends are parallel. I use it on all my lanyards. Mix 2 different colors and it looks even better!
