Sorry for my mistakes. I will be extra careful in the future.

Hi Vin,

I received my two drop-ins. And yes... hehehe... they're pretty bright

Just one thing:
I ordered both with a 3-mode driver, but the U2 CW drop-in is a 2-mode.
Not a big deal, I can live with that :), just want to let you know.

Thanks

49+5= $54

I like to order:

High Current and Medium Voltage: 2.8-6V
Low-Medium-High with memory
2800mA + 350mA*4= 4,200mA => + $4 to price
Smooth reflector
thermal injection
XML 5000K Neutral LED

what would the total be with shipping to sweden?

hey Vinh, are you stacking 7135's for the drivers that we specify the output current?

Just wondering, how do these perform with say, an AW 17670? Any idea?

Your question would be easier to answer if you were more specific; pick a driver and options, etc.

I ordered one of the 3-13V's last week ... A bunch of my surefires are unbored, so I run AW 17670's in them.

It will work fine with a single AW 17670 (good for up to 3.2A).

Although it will work fine at 3~3.7V (single primary or Li-Ion) on the low end of its voltage range, and also fine at 11.1~12V (3 Li-Ions or 4 primaries) on the high end of its voltage range, it will probably work best at 6~9V (2 or 3 primaries or 2 Li-Ions), in the middle of its voltage range. The best thing about this driver is its versatility, especially if you are only using one drop-in, and moving it between hosts/battery configurations.

For a drop-in optimized for a single AW 17670 however, Vinh's high current, low voltage driver with its stock current option (3.04A) would be the brightest.

Update

I successfully stacked 7135 chips to 6080mA for my Maelstrom S12 Copper SST-90. The light pulled 6.0A even on my meter and the things is darn bright! :) Too bad the moonlight mode don't work with SST LEDS. I have ran the lights and depleted 3 26650 charge cycle and the driver still works great. The light does get real hot after 5-6 minutes run on a fully charged battery though.

I also modded my Maelstrom X10 with a XML-U2 LED and S12 Driver. The original Driver only pulled 2.7A and when pair with a green tint LED it's just not impressive. Now the X10 pulled 4.33A. A little high but its all good. The U2 is also cool white which is much more pleasant than the green tint T6. I also tested this light with multiple 26650 charge cycles and the light run super reliable.

My Maelstrom G5 modded with an XRE-R2 LED is however the most interesting mod of all. I used the original driver which pulled a bout 1.3-1.4A and the light throws amazing. Its my go to compact thrower now. The beam is even beautiful.

I gave up on SST-50 LEDs for P60 drop in. The XML is just a superior LED for P60 setup.

Is anyone on this thread interested in a video for Tips on how to build a P60 Drop in? or a related topic?

Awesome, can you post pics of one of your solder jobs after stacking them? They'll be hidden on a completed drop in so you'll be the only one to show us pics how you do it.

Sure :)
