My impressions
Pros
+ Nice packaging
+ Very good build quality as always from Fenix
+ Clean reflector, lens, scratch free anodizing
+ No visible pwm or other irritating flickering, all modes perfect
+ No buzzing sound (driver), all modes perfect
+ Batteries/holder not rattle in tube
+ Protected, unprotected cells fit perfectly (I tried Keeppower 3400mAh, XTAR 2600mAh, Spark 2600mAh, Fenix ARB-L2 2600mAh and Panasonic NCR18650PF 2900mAh)
+ Well centered led
+ Well spaced modes (20lm, 130lm, 400lm, 1000lm)
+ I have not seen rings in the beam (on the wall)
+ Switch reaction time is perfect (react immediatly)
+ Switch position is very comfortable
+ Simple UI with hidden strobe/sos modes
+ Direct access to strobe mode (from standby)
+ Direct access to turbo mode (from standby)
+ Momentary light available
+ One of the best throwing capable in this class (single XM-L2, not modified flashlights) 170.000cd!
+ Extreme long runtimes, especially with optional body tube/tubes
+ 1000lm/170000cd without step down, more than 4 hours runtime (not tested more than 4 hours, but I tested more than 30 minutes and I have not seen step down, I use unprotected Panasonic NCR18650PF cells)
+ Shoulder strap
+ Stable tail stand capable
+ Good price/value ratio
Cons
- No real cons for me
Other comments
- Optional white filter would be good (especially for indoor use)
- Fenix said NW version will be available, but I have not seen
- XM-L2 U2 was one of the best choice for maximum throw, but I hope TK61 "UE" with MT-G2 led will be available in this year (pls Fenix), I think MT-G2 led with this huge reflector and 4*18650 batteries would be perfect combination
