I was a bit bummed out that my new Fenix TK51 didn't have a holster.
It's a good sized light and I can see that there would be times I'd like to bright it with me, but not have to carry it in mt hand the entire time.
So i went to the store and picked up some para-cord.
Warning: I have NEVER tried braiding para-cord ever in my life so I'm sure that this looks rather lame compared to other para-cord items you have seen. So consider it a prototype!!
So what is it?
It's this:
Kind of like the old nightstick holders. It looks a bit ugly, but actually works quite well! As I get better at braiding maybe I can create something that is better, and looks nice. But for a first attempt ever, I'm happy with the results.
BTW: That's 12 feet of para-cord. Four for the belt loop and eight for the flashlight loop. That's a whole $3 investment.
