I grabbed a D1vn with SST40 in the autumn sale (still not sure WHY, as I just got a TX25C2vn40...but choices are good, and the D1 was less than half the price).
Admittedly, I'm intrigued by the D4vn, and almost snatched one of those, as well...but I think the heat generation made me rethink it.
Maybe I'll buy myself a new light for my birthday - I won't even have to wait long.

Having an SST-40 D1vn, I'm trying very hard to resist a D4vn...

Haha. The D4vn XPG PDT is my current favorite light. I love the size, user interface, and useful throw out of it. Still has enough flood for plenty of things up close too. Awesome light. Still don't use my stock D4 with Nichia LEDs much as a result though. It's a shame perhaps haha.

Nice, hope you enjoy it! I'm still carrying my green one every day and don't miss my previous EDC too much. :) Of course I'll have to get it out from time to time still.

Well you will be happy to know it will be a lot better than the pic/s show;)

Clip wise, i would go OR or Prometheus, yes $25 ish and a good chunk of the light cost itself, but it deserves no less imho. Especially if a clip is important, i dont like clip on clips much as it is, on the D4 to me they look terrible(subjective).

Yeah I would love to get a clip for it too but would like to find one cheaper. It would make it so much easier to carry sometimes though. Maybe I should add it to my Christmas list.
