There are only 3 levels. The press and hold from off is simply a shortcut.

Yes.. you are right.. i even measured each mode carefully..
low mode 85 lux
medium mode 176
high mode 299 lux.. ( i did this also by long press and get the same lux number )..

so there is 3 modes only.

Are you guys OK with the UI? it had to be that way for this build. I kept it as simple as possible.

I am perfectly happy with the UI, but just wasn't sure if the High Setting was the same as Turbo (both are listed in the UI description).

Since it seems to be exactly the same setting, that makes the UI even simpler.

Does the CFT90 come in anything warmer than 5500k? The temperature is one of the things holding me back because I find that I can see the textures and details much easier with a warmer tint.

I have a question I could not find an answer for. I just ordered up a TN42vn90 and see the VTC6 are the recommended battery.
Are we to use flat top or button top.

Received my TN42vn90 today. As I opened the package I said to my daughter, I wonder if I am getting a Fiat Lux. Much to my surprise it was. The light is a absolutely perfect.
I was able to try it out a little last night but the VTC6 batteries have not arrived yet. In the battery carrier were some Acebeam 3100 mah batteries. Was not sure these were to come with the light so was a little confused. If any one else received these and can shed any light on this I would appreciate it.

Thanks

congrats on your fiat lux.. acebeam protected is ok on the tn42vn90.. I think Sony vtc6 protected is better.
