Sometimes I'll hop out of the house in the evening (with my eyes adjusted to indoor lighting) and I need to check my corners for bears and such, and the a full 200 lumen blast is barely enough. I'd have really appreciated another 1 or 2 brightness levels, even if it's just one more step up.

Another thing I'd really like to see is an 18350 tube for those 1200mah KeepPowers. We already have 18650 tubes, I don't know why 18350s were skipped over.

You really have bears?
All I have to worry about is the occasional escaped pig. No womder you need more light! Get a Hound Dog.
P

I got a small jack russell terrier that will fight the bear for me, no hound needed. We had a couple living in the neighborhood a year or so back, most got killed when the state opened another season. Still they come out of the woods now and then so I like to know what's hiding behind dark corners.

I like my rotary factory settings, everything is on/off and I can blast 100% momentarily by holding the button and then go back to the regularly scheduled programming when I'm sure there's nothing interesting to see.

Not a problem. I like to make sure everyone can get what they want... not always possible, but I do try.

I do believe that Peter was referring to the Hound Dog flashlight from Malkoff. As others have said many times before, the HDS is truly sufficient for 99% of my lighting needs. The Hound Dog is for the other 1%.

Ya if you have a HDS and a hound dog you pretty much have all the bases covered.

OK. Since we are on page 100, would it be easier to just keep going in this thread, or should I start a new one? I'm thinking it might be easier to start #21 at this point since there are almost 3000 posts in this thread.

Here goes...

Someone with superpowers can lock this one.

Hold my rum... watch this!

Though this having to wear two sets of underpants... one over my regular pants seems odd. I'm buying tights.
